Billie

Billie is a female hamster, approximately 9 months old, with striking black and white markings. She came into our care in December 2025 from a home where a dog repeatedly tried to break into her enclosure, leaving her stressed and unsafe. She is now being fostered in a calm, quiet environment with no cats or dogs, where she has settled in beautifully.

Billie is sweet-natured and very curious, and although she hasn’t yet been handled, she shows good potential to build confidence with time and gentle patience. She is an enthusiastic gnawer and loves chewing wood, so we feel she would be best suited to a tank-style enclosure or similar, rather than a wooden setup. Billie is looking for a calm, understanding home that will allow her to continue gaining confidence at her own pace and provide plenty of appropriate enrichment.
