Popcorn

Popcorn is a lovely Winter White × Campbell’s Russian dwarf hybrid with beautiful glossy fur and a striking dorsal stripe running down her back. We don’t know her exact age, but she is fully grown, so is at least 12 weeks old. Based on her lively, energetic personality, we think she may still be on the younger side.

Popcorn came into our care as an emergency intake and arrived with very little information about her previous circumstances. Despite an uncertain start, she has settled in wonderfully and is showing us what a bright and busy little character she is.

She loves zooming around on her wheel and has thoroughly enjoyed creating deep burrows in her enclosure – one of her favourite hamster activities so far. Popcorn hasn’t had a great deal of handling previously, so she can still be a little unsure, but with patience, gentle interaction, and time to build trust, we think she has every chance to continue growing in confidence.

This lovely little girl has now passed her vet health check and is looking for a forever home where she can continue to thrive, burrow, explore, and enjoy all the enrichment a hamster deserves 🩷🐹
